Love pumpkin pie? Take your favorite pie’s flavors and blend into a creamy, dairy-free Pumpkin Spice Smoothie for a cozy, energizing breakfast. Its main ingredient—the pumpkin—gives the smoothie an abundance of vitamin A, which is great for your vision and skin. Furthermore, both the pumpkin and banana provide plenty of potassium, boosting your energy with electrolytes. And did you know that adding some collagen protein can help strengthen your joints, bones and muscles? You’ll be satisfying both nutritional needs and fall cravings with this Pumpkin Spice Smoothie!

Further Food Commentary:

Not only does this sound delicious, but it also gets marks in my book as an excellent alternative to having a traditional slice of pumpkin pie or some other sugary pumpkin treat for dessert. Pumpkin is one of my favorite winter squashes-as it is a starchy vegetable, yet low in calories and extremely high in vitamin A.

Founder's story:

"My father had just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, my mom was
managing her hypothyroid, and my best friend was struggling with painful IBS.
I went online to search for food-based and natural solutions that could help
them heal. But what I found was scattered, disorganized, and left me more confused. I thought, ‘There must be an easier way to discover solutions for various ailments from real experts and from people who had done it themselves. So I decided to build a resource—a platform for food as medicine solutions
for all your health needs. And I decided to take the wisdom from this community to create real food based products that heal.
