What is Arthritis?

Reactive arthritis is an autoimmune condition that develops in response to an infection in another part of the body (i.e., cross-reactivity). Bacterial contact and developing an infection can trigger this disease. Among others, symptoms include the inflammatory arthritis of large joints.
