My Story

After caring for and losing both my parents to cancer and heart disease I became  passionate about preventative health and lifestyle choices.  Today I find joy in sharing my love of plant-based cooking with others and helping people heal with real food.

When I’m not with clients or in my kitchen, you can usually find me at Whole Foods or with her husband hiking in the woods of New York and New Jersey.  I love the outdoors! I stay active with yoga, running, hiking, workout friends and riding my bike.

Lynda Layng is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor who empowers individuals to make positive lifestyle changes through one-on-one health and nutrition counseling, whole food cooking instruction, corporate workshops, public speaking engagements, and programs designed to support and facilitate change to a healthier life.  She is a plant based chef, recipe developer and editor and shares her recipes on her site lyndalayng.com. Lynda has been in the fitness, nutrition and health space for over nine years and has contributed her recipes to many online publications as well as tested and edited recipes for cookbooks and magazines.
