For years I was poked, prodded and tested for everything under the sun – only to end up with doctors telling me I was perfectly healthy! I knew that wasn’t the case, but what could I do about it?By the end of 2012, I had gotten to the point where I was taking strong anti-inflammatory pills and many supplements every day, without which I couldn’t function at all. I regularly bled from my gums, I had trouble walking, I was constantly in digestive distress and I cried myself to sleep each and every night due to extreme joint pain. I knew something had to change.I started the year 2013 off with “clean eating,” after my sister, who was taking a nutrition course, suggested I try it for my joint pain. It was amazing. Two weeks of clean eating had all but gotten rid of my once crippling joint pain. Clean eating led to gluten-free, which led to dairy-free, which has now led me to a paleo diet. I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been! I’m eating foods that nourish my body and I’m able to enjoy an active and fulfilling life.To learn more about Meg and her recipes, visit her websites: English: http://bepaleoandthrive.blogspot.beFrench: http://paleobelgique.blogpsot.be
