Studying organic chemistry, microbiology, physiology, and biochemistry after not being in school for over twenty years was a bit daunting! But the hard work paid off when I earned my MS in Nutrition. After receiving my degree, I have worked as an online weight loss facilitator and a fitness instructor. My nutritional approach is based around whole foods with an emphasis on high quality proteins, vegetables, fruits, quality fats, nuts, seeds and limited dairy. Personally, I don’t eat grains or legumes. However, I firmly believe that each individual needs to determine for his/herself, what foods work for them and can lead to optimum health and wellbeing.
