My Story

I am an Integrative Chef and Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist (FDN), born and raised in Sonoma County, California. My deep connection to the natural cycles of nature inspire me to create nutrient-dense dishes that harmonize with the seasons. I spent over 18 years organic gardening and cooking whole foods on an 84-acre farm in Northern California. With a passion for health and nutrition, I take pride in understanding the body on a cellular level, and how all parts work together to create your complete health. My passion as a health educator was inspired by my own personal journey with autoimmunity.  This catalyst propelled me to delve deeper into the amazing healing relationship that marries whole foods with a healthy body.

While working as an ecologist for California State Parks, I attended the California School of Herbal Studies where I began my study of plant therapeutics.  After starting a family, I realized the true importance of diet and lifestyle.  My desire to keep her family healthy and well-fed, fueled the chef inside of me.  I returned to school, graduating with honors from Bauman College Natural Chef Program, California School of Herbal Studies, Sonoma State University, and became a member of the Weston A Price Foundation.

After learning I had a thyroid condition, I chose not to accept the medical model’s opinion of my future. This pushed me to follow my long standing passion for the study of physiology and functional nutrition, graduating as a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner.

As a FDN, my mission is to empower you with the tools you need to feel healthy again. I also started a prepared food company with my chef brother called Three Leaves Foods, specializing in locally sourced meals that are nutrient dense, healing and delicious. Want to learn more? Go to my website
