Why not have a little dessert for breakfast? This “nice” cream recipe is healthy, full of fruit and totally delicious. I added granola to the dish to make it more of a substantial breakfast and to keep you full throughout the morning. The combo of flavours work really well and it is a very satisfying jar of goodness for breakfast. Perfect for on the run!

Mangoes are an excellent source of beta carotene and vitamin C. It is also a good source of vitamin E and niacin. This exotic fruit is low in calories, but high in potassium, iron and fiber. The soft, juicy flesh of a ripe mango makes it difficult to peel and messy to eat, but this recipe makes it easier to add and eat mangoes to your weekly meals. Who knew that you can have dessert for breakfast!

Ingredients

2 small bananas – frozen
1 banana – fresh
½ mango – fresh or frozen
½ cup of blackberries
1 tablespoon of apricot and sesame granola or any other granola you like

Optional 1 scoop of Further Food Collagen

Instructions

  1. Add 2 frozen bananas and ½ mango to a food processor with a blade attachment and blend until smooth.
  2. Layer the nice cream with blackberries, banana, and granola and enjoy!
