This Brain-Food Granola is the perfect balance to start off the day with a great mood. Filled with nuts and seeds, it will give your body a great feeling of satisfaction while improving your mood. Walnuts, almonds and seeds are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids which have shown to improve anxiety. The oats are a great source of fiber which will balance your blood sugar and promote the growth of “good” gut bacteria: “happy gut, happy mood.”

Further Food Commentary:

Walnuts are an excellent source of antioxidants that can help fight oxidative damage in your body, including damage due to “bad” LDL cholesterol, which promotes atherosclerosis. Several plant compounds and nutrients in walnuts may help decrease inflammation, which is a key culprit in many chronic diseases.

What is an individual serving size? I look forward to trying it but I love nuts and seeds so much that I need to break it out into serving sizes or I’ll eat too much of it at one sitting. Thank you!

Hi Terry: Great question! This granola is so delicious that it would be easy to eat a lot of it in one sitting! We recommend 1/2-3/4 cup serving sizes. Enjoy.
