Double-Chocolate Brownie Batter Overnight Oats (Vegan)

These creamy chocolate overnight oats made with Further Food Vegan Beauty are perfect to satisfy that early morning sweet tooth. The oats are made with less than 10 ingredients, provide you with healthy fats, protein, and some mood booster power from the cacao.

I love incorporating cacao into my diet daily because of all the nutritional benefits (fiber, iron, magnesium etc) and one of the best parts about it is –it contains absolutely NO sugar!! The cacao powder tastes sweet but not too sweet making it a great addition to oatmeal, smoothies, or for hot chocolate! It adds such a deep chocolate flavor to the oats making it feel like you are eating dessert for breakfast and by dessert I mean- it tastes like brownie batter!

Further Food Commentary:

If you are following a gluten-free diet, be sure to look for oats that are specifically labeled as gluten-free. Sometimes, oats are processed in the same factory that makes other products that contain gluten, so the oats can become contaminated with gluten. Overnight Oats are a great option for breakfast that you can throw together the night before. Chia seeds are an excellent source of fiber and omega-3 fats. This recipe has 11 grams of fiber, which is awesome in my book. Fiber will help you to feel full & satisfied, and promotes bowel regularity and gut health. I also like that despite the name, this recipe contains very little added sugar.

cacao nibs
dairy free chocolate chunks

  3. In the morning add 1 tablespoon of melted almond butter or any additional toppings desired. Enjoy!

As a chocolate lover, this is such a great healthy way to get that chocolate fix! I love how versatile overnight oats can be and this is one of my top favorite flavors to make! I love the add of almond butter to add that extra flavor and makes it a little thicker consistency that I love!
