Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Print

These not-overly-sweet cookies are delightfully thin and chewy, yet are strong enough to hold up in a cold glass of milk. While I opt for chocolate chips, carob chips or dried fruit make a great, AIP-friendly mix-in. Or, keep them as a plain, low-sugar cookie!

Further Food Commentary:

These chewy chocolate chip cookies may seem like your basic, everyday homemade cookie, however they are actually gluten-free (among other things) and can easily be made to fit an Autoimmune Protocol diet. Meg’s recipe shows that it is possible to indulge in a classic treat, even if your diet is restrictive. Regardless, this homemade cookie recipe can be enjoyed with or without dietary restraints. So go ahead, whip up some chewy chocolate cookies and indulge your sweet tooth!
