I created this Chocolate Avocado Pudding recipe to fulfill my chocolate cravings while increasing my daily fiber intake and protein. It is perfect for any diet protocol, gluten free, high in fiber, low in carbs, filling and loaded with micronutrients such as magnesium and polyphenols. I often have this as my dinner but it makes a great breakfast, lunch or snack.

Further Food Nutritionist Commentary:

This is a great alternative to regular pudding. The raw cocoa adds a lot of antioxidants that can be overshadowed by the dairy in milk and medium dark chocolates. It's also a smart idea to add Further Collagen to this mix to get the extra punch of protein and muscle building, fat burning peptides!

Chocolate Avocado Protein Pudding

Ingredients

1/2 medium avocado
2 tablespoons Raw Cacao Powder
25 grams of protein powder (I use vanilla)
1 scoop of Further Food Collagen powder
1 tablespoon chia flax seed meal
3 cubes of ice
water (about 1/2 cup)
*optional raw cacao nibs

Instructions

1.Combine all ingredients in a blender
2. Mix until a thick pudding or shake forms
3. Pour into serving glass
