Chocolate “Birthday Cake” Protein Shake

Create healthy indulgences to keep your mind off of wanting the cake in the freezer (because once you know it’s there, you won’t be able to take your mind off of it).

Further Food Commentary:

As long as its unsweetened, in comparison to other types of milk, almond milk is lower in calories. Even though raw almonds are a good source of protein, almond milk is not, but is a good source of vitamin A and D and is naturally lactose free. It should be noted that it should be thought of as a good source of calcium, which is important for those with osteoporosis and optimum bone growth. Since bananas are high in pectin, they aid in digestion and as a prebiotic, can aid in stimulating the growth of friendly bacteria. If your bananas do start going brown before you’re ready to use, peel them and stick them in the freezer for a later date!
