Chocolate Matcha Protein Bars

Print

These No Bake Chocolate Matcha Protein Bars, made with both Further Food Vanilla Collagen and Further Food Matcha Collagen, are a double whammy of goodness!  Combining the two collagens give you a hefty dose of collagen benefits in each chocolate matcha protein bar,  including hydrated skin, and stronger hair and nails.  Then you’ll get a nice antioxidant boost from the matcha, along with the other benefits associated with green tea powder, which include sustained energy and improved focus.

We love how easy this no bake matcha protein bar recipe is to make: first you start with the base and then you pour a delicious chocolate coating on top. Freeze for a couple hours and these bars are good to go! Take them with you as a filling late morning or afternoon snack or have one after dinner for a decadent tasting healthy treat.

Further Food Commentary:

Who says healthy food can't taste good? These matcha chocolate protein bars provide a nice protein boost, along with other collagen benefits. And collagen has also been shown to keep you full longer than other protein powders, such as whey protein, so you will be less likely to reach for an unhealthy snack or junk food. Keep these in the freezer for an easy to go healthy treat.

Helping you eat better, feel better, naturally.

Founder's story:

"My father had just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, my mom was
managing her hypothyroid, and my best friend was struggling with painful IBS.
I went online to search for food-based and natural solutions that could help
them heal. But what I found was scattered, disorganized, and left me more confused. I thought, ‘There must be an easier way to discover solutions for various ailments from real experts and from people who had done it themselves. So I decided to build a resource—a platform for food as medicine solutions
for all your health needs. And I decided to take the wisdom from this community to create real food based products that heal.
