Collagen Mint Chip Shake

A common thing I see in clients’ food logs is snacks that are dense in carbs and fat, but void of much protein. This Collagen Mint Chip Shake is the perfect way to bump up your protein intake with Further Food Collagen Peptides! This homemade protein shake is also packed with healthy fats and good carbs, so it will keep you satiated longer. And MOST importantly, it tastes oh so lovely! It’s like a healthy shamrock shake with chocolate chips.

Ok, fine, it doesn’t taste exactly like a shamrock shake lol. It’s a little too healthy for that, but this is the PERFECT way to get your peppermint & chocolate fix. What a dynamic duo.

This homemade protein shake is made with collagen peptides, peppermint extract and a sprinkle of chocolate chips, for a snack or breakfast that is both delicious and nutritious! Enjoy!

Further Food Commentary:

Avocados contain quite a bit of potassium, dietary fiber, and fats. Avocado oil alone is almost two-thirds (71 percent) monounsaturated fatty acids — aka the “good fats” shown to lower LDL, or “bad,” cholesterol and increase HDL, or “good,” cholesterol.
