Golden Latte French Toast (Egg-Free, Gluten-Free, High-Fiber)

Ingredients

1 banana
1/2 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1.5 teaspoons of Further Food Daily Turmeric Tonic
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon gluten free flour
2 slices gluten free bread

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine banana, almond milk, lemon juice, Turmeric Tonic, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and nutmeg. Blend thoroughly.
  2. Transfer mixture to a medium/shallow bowl (one that your bread can fit into) and add gluten free flour.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into batter and use a spoon to cover top with mixture. Make sure both sides are well coated.
  4. Heat a skillet over stovetop, coated with butter, and reduce to low-medium heat.
  5. Transfer bread to skillet and cook 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  6. Top with your favorite toppings! Coconut flakes, cinnamon, honey, etc.
