Golden Milk Latte (Dairy-Free, Soy-Free)

This easy golden latte made with turmeric has just the right amount of sweetness and spice. It also has antioxidants, isn’t that nice?

You could drink this golden latte before bed or have it as an energizing morning beverage. It’s a great way to change things up especially during the colder months when a healthy hot beverage hits the spot.

After having an amazing golden latte in Hawaii I was determined to recreate my own version of this turmeric beverage.

Further Food Nutritionist Commentary:

This golden milk latte is a great alternative to coffee if you are trying to limit the amount of caffeine you drink or even if you just want a healthy drink. With the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric, this latte packs a punch. Plus, turmeric helps reduce pain, improves liver function and improves digestion.

Brenda! You could use either types of coconut milk! I’ve done both but had to add boiling water to the canned coconut milk since it was a little too creamy and overpowering! You could also do a blend between canned coconut milk and almond milk. I hope this helps!

I have a question. Is the coconut milk in the recipe the kind that comes in the can or the processed kind that comes in a carton?
