Paleo Peach Coconut Smoothie


Peaches are wonderful to use when they are in season. With the combination of peaches and coconut, that just screams happiness to me. Why not make a yummy delectable smoothie?! On top of that, having a scoop of protein powder in it, makes for a well rounded snack!

Such an easy and summery recipe that puts a nice spin on a smoothie and the usual berry banana mix! Peaches contain beta carotene and vitamin C both antioxidants that help to maintain eye health and skin integrity! The dose of protein powder (I always recommend plant based organic protein) will help with staying power and will prevent any blood sugar spikes! Add a tablespoon of chia or golden flax to get a boost of omega three fatty acids and fiber too!

1 cup ice
2 large peached (peeled and cut into chunks)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (to taste)
1 scoop vanilla or non-flavored protein powder
