My absolute favorite fruit is papaya. I could eat it every single day! I was inspired to create a smoothie with some ripe papaya I had in order to jumpstart my digestion that morning. Papaya has amazing digestive enzymes so it’s a great choice first thing in the morning after I drink my water.

Pineapple contains Bromelain, a mixture of enzymes found naturally in the pineapple. Bromelain is used to aid indigestion but more importantly lower inflammation. Everyone should include pineapple in their diet! Coconut water has tons of potassium, adding a very valuable mineral to this smoothie!

Ingredients

1/2 ripe papaya
1 1/2 cups of pineapple (cut up)
2 dates (pitted)
1 1/2 cups coconut water

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender on high for 30 seconds.

      A lot of things contribute to sick kidneys so always check with your doctor first. Drinking 1-2 Liters of water a day with electrolytes is your base and will help you flush your kidneys. Other herbs like ginger, milk thistle, marshmallow root, beer root are good for cleansing. Research those and see what your doctor says. Good luck!
