I know it has been a while since I’ve shared a recipe with you, but I’m back with a VERY tasty recipe that I think you all NEED to try.  These Peanut Butter Chocolate Oat Bars are chewy & gooey and you need to make them ASAP!

The colder weather, changing of the seasons and the upcoming holiday season makes for the perfect time to master a new dessert recipe! Theres something about gooey, warm chocolate and peanut butter that tastes extra yummy this time of year. Make these Peanut Butter Chocolate Oat Bars the next time you’re craving something sweet!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Oat Bars

  • Prep Time:10 Minutes
  • Cook Time:30 Minutes
  • Servings: 10

Ingredients

2 eggs

1 cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons baking soda

1/2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups natural peanut butter

2 cups Bob’s Red Mill Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

1 cup chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 350F and line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl combine the eggs & sugar. Mix well.
  3. Add the baking soda & salt, mix well. Add the vanilla & peanut butter, mix well.
  4. Finally add the oats and chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the batter into the pan evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool for around 20 minutes & serve warm. Or let cool completely & store!
