Pumpkin Pie Smoothie (Gluten-Free)

Um, HELLO! Need I say more?… This Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is a MUST-MAKE this autumn!

Smoothie tip: If you’re an avid smoothie drinker like myself, you can pour your milk of choice into ice cube trays and freeze. Once frozen, you can remove the cubes and store in a tightly sealed bag in the freezer until ready to use. This method will result in a cold smoothie without the watered down taste from using ice.

Tis the season for all things pumpkin! This time of year is so fun for creating new recipes with classic fall flavors. Get a taste for the classic fall dessert, pumpkin pie, with this healthier version that’s also acceptable to have for breakfast! Enjoy!

Further Food Commentary:

Pumpkin is high in vitamins and minerals while being low in calories. It’s also a great source of beta-carotene, a carotenoid that your body converts into vitamin A. Pumpkin is high in vitamins A and C, which can help boost your immune system. Its supply of vitamin E, iron and folate may strengthen your immunity as well.
