Raw Chocolate Truffle Bites

My vice…chocolate! I love it and although I no longer have sweet cravings, every now and then a little sweet treat is in order! I don’t believe in guilt, but I do believe in putting high quality food made with love into your body. Everything, including food, carries a vibration. That’s why choosing local and organic when possible and cooking your own food with love is of the utmost importance to a healthy lifestyle. These raw chocolate truffle bites are a rich, chocolatey treat that are only sweetened by dates and have the added benefit of healthy fat and protein from nuts and hemp seeds! I especially LOVE the flaked coconut with the chocolate.

Further Food Commentary:

The chocolate truffle is typically thought of as a truly indulgent, once-in-a-while treat. Made with a combination of nuts and seeds, cocoa powder and nibs, and naturally sweetened with dates, these are an exception to the rule. At only 115 calories per serving, they provide 3 grams each of fiber and protein, 5% of your daily iron needs, plus healthy mono- and poly-unsaturated fats account for more than half of their total fat.
