I have to say I outdid myself this time! This drink made with Further Food Mindful Matcha is really delicious! Made with fresh orange and lime juice, this Matcha Margarita is a perfect refreshing drink. You get some brain-boosting benefits from the matcha and lots of antioxidants from the matcha, wheatgrass and fresh juices.

If I didn’t have to work tonight, I’d be making another one right now!

Skinny Matcha Margarita (No Sugar Added, Low Carb)

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounce silver tequila
1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
1 ounce fresh squeezed orange juice
1/4 teaspoon Mindful Matcha
one half dropper liquid stevia
splash of seltzer or club soda
garnish with a lime wedge, coarse salt, and additional Mindful Matcha

Instructions

  1. Combine a pinch of coarse salt and a pinch of Mindful Matcha and place on a small plate.
  2. Moisten the rim of a glass with the lime wedge and roll in the matcha/salt combo to rim the glass. Carefully fill glass with ice.  Hang on to that lime wedge…you’ll need it again!
  3. Combine all ingredients except seltzer in a cocktail shaker, add ice, and shake until well combined.
  4. Strain into glass over ice.  Garnish with a lime wedge.
