Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Print

Using the slow cooker is one of my favorite ways to cook during the winter and on days I am at work. It is a low calorie, low fat way of cooking that is hands off most of the time! I spend so much time at the deli counter buying just “ok” turkey breast that I decided to try this instead. It was super easy and super tasty that I’ll never go back to deli turkey again. I also love that I can keep this in the fridge to have for a quick snack throughout the week and that I know there are no nitrates or preservatives added. It makes packing lunch for the kids and myself a cinch, too!

Further Food Commentary:

I love the clean quality of this dish. Turkey is a great protein source that is versatile in how you enjoy it. Make a sandwich, eat it with veggies, add it to pasta or quesadillas! No matter what diet you are on (unless you are vegetarian or vegan) you can add this to make a complete meal! I avoid gluten but my husband and kids do not, therefore the whole family can enjoy this all week long in different ways! Cook once, eat often is my motto and the less effort the better!
