Superfood Green Wheatgrass Smoothie Print 9 LikeDislike By Lillian Zhao I started to drink green wheatgrass smoothies as my father became a cancer patient. I was searching for organic food, that fights against his tumor. This superfood is rich in vitamins, iron, calcium, magnesium, chlorophyl, selenium and essential amino acids and helps to detox and clean your body. I add a couple scoops of Further Food Collagen to this smoothie, which helps improve gut health and strengthen hair and nails. I recommend drinking this in the morning or as an afternoon pick me up!
Susan March 30, 2021 at 6:33 amI discovered wheatgrass last summer and having arthritis, a daily dose of wheatgrass has been life-changing for me. Winter is the hardest season for me and I sailed through it. I’ve been able to maintain my summer walking regimen of 5 miles a day (which last summer increased from 2 miles a day). This is in addition to daily bike rides and swimming – All at 64 yrs young! It has definitely reduced my inflammation. I grow my own wheatgrass which is super easy but also have wheatgrass powder for those in-between times and for travel. I just ordered collagen and am now looking for a good somewhat tasty smoothie to incorporate that and wheatgrass into. Happy to have found this site and I am looking forward to trying the superfood smoothie. Reply ↓
Sharon May 4, 2020 at 2:50 pmI am on a detox diet drinking smoothies. The smoothie consists of: 6 cups of kale leaves, 2 red apples, 2 carrots’ 1 cup of parsely leaves, handful of flax seed. Will wheatgrass powder be beneficial to add to the smoothie? And how many teaspoons May I add. I am a great believer of wheatgrass. Reply ↓
