These Super Seed Squares with cinnamon and turmeric are the perfect snack! Seeds are among the most nutritious things you can eat, as they contain loads of protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. The warm spices (cinnamon and Further Food Superfood Turmeric) make it the perfect way to dip your toes into fall baking. But, this is actually a no bake recipe and it comes together in minutes. This is such a healthy grab and go snack or, you can pair it with fruit and coconut, or greek yogurt as part of a healthy breakfast.

Ingredients

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

1/3 cup hemp hearts

1/3 cup pumpkin seeds

1/3 cup shredded unsweetened coconut

1/4 cup basil seeds

1/4 cup creamy nut or seed butter (I used almond butter)

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 teaspoon Further Food Superfood Turmeric

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)

4 tablespoons of maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients until very well incorporated.
  2. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and then press the seed mixture into the dish.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes and then cut into squares. Store in a glass container in the refrigerator.
