I started changing my diet in an effort to stop the progression of my Multiple Sclerosis (MS), but I never in my wildest dreams believed I could manage almost every one of my MS symptoms with a combination of diet and lifestyle changes. After about 18 months of this new diet, the spasms and rigidity in my hands stopped enough that I was able to use them for simple tasks (dressing, eating or using the restroom). I no longer needed to have people living and caring for me for the first time in my life and the biggest shock—I was able to drive a few miles each week-for the first time in years! Eventually, over the course of several years, symptom after symptom disappeared.

After that, I began to bio-hack my body, believing more healing could happen. Sure, my hands and legs were having fewer spasms, but I wanted to see how far I could take my healing and eagerly looked for anything and everything that had the potential to further my healing.

Experimenting with collagen

I started reading about how supplementing with collagen could improve gut health and offer limb and joint support. Collagen is the most abundant protein in our bodies, making up 90 percent of our connective tissue, 90 percent of our organic bone mass and 70 percent of our skin.
