This healthy twist on the traditional French Toast is under 300 calories, low in fat and carbs!

Sprouted bread is a great way to eat a grain. Through the sprouting process, the grain becomes easier to digest and your body is able to receive all the protein, vitamins and minerals that would otherwise be bound to an indigestible chemical or under tough fiber. Sprouting also lessens the starch content.

Ingredients

2 egg whites

2 slices of defrosted Ezekiel Bread
1 tablespoon cold pressed coconut oil
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

1. Beat the egg whites in a bowl.
2. Dip bread in egg whites until fully soaked.
3. Heat pan over medium heat with coconut oil.
4. Place soaked bread into pan and cook for about 2 minutes on each side until browned.
5. Place on plate and sprinkle with cinnamon.
6. Top with sugar free syrup, coconut oil, or Walden Farms Syrup.
