To be honest when I came up with this 3 ingredients refreshing mango sorbet, I would never have imagined it would be such a success. I get so many compliments on it.

This is the simplest recipe. All you need is good frozen mango and a powerful blender.
Basically you don’t want the mango to melt completely when you blend. It would spoil the taste.

To contrast with the sweetness of the mango, I added some lemon. I personally love sour taste but I believe it’s necessary here.

To make the mixture smoother, you should definitely add a non-dairy milk. Here I added some cashew milk but I believe almond milk or hemp milk could be great too.

Each cup of mango contains 100 calories, helps fight cancer, alkalize the body, aid in weight loss, regulate diabetes, help digestion and clearing skin. Deriving from the same family of plants as pistachios and cashews, mangos provide 100% of one's daily value (DV) of vitamin C and 35% of DV of vitamin A, which is a good for optimal vision. Each cup of cashew milk provides 15% of the daily value of vitamin K. Homemade vs. store bought versions can vary in nutrient quality. While homemade versions may have up to 6 g of protein, commercial brands have less than 1 g and while homemade cashew milk contains 15 g of fat the commercially prepared brands has about 5 g.

Ingredients

1 lb frozen mango
2 lemons, squeezed
1 cup unsweetened non dairy milk (here cashew milk)
2 scoops Further Food Collagen Peptides (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to a food processor and blend until having a smooth mixture.
  2. Add to a glass Tupperware or cake loaf pan.
  3. Enjoy right away or store in freezer for a few hours before eating.
  4. If stored in the freezer, thaw for 10 minutes at least. Enjoy!
