5-Ingredient Asparagus Strawberry Smoothie

I love to make this asparagus smoothie with strawberries when it’s hot outside and I need a quick refreshment!  The optional Further Food Collagen provides a lot of benefits, including helping to strengthen bones and joints and improve gut health. You can mix it right in without any added flavor or texture. This smoothie is super easy, healthy and delicious!

Further Food Commentary:

Asparagus is a good low-calorie source of folate and vitamins A and C. Its stalks are high in fiber and a useful vegetable source of protein. Gout sufferers may be advised to forgo asparagus because it contains purines, substances that can precipitate a painful attack of the disease. Having the strawberries added to the shake gives a fruity delightful taste to the shake!
