Banana, Almond Milk, Green Smoothie Print 12 LikeDislike By Lillian Zhao Smoothies can be a great option for those of us with a sensitive gut because blending the fruits and veggies fully breaks down the cell walls, making it easier for the body to digest and absorb the nutrients. This smoothie contains ingredients that can be adjusted to individual tastes, and other greens, such as kale, can be easily substituted for the spinach. I’ve also added Further Food Collagen, which can help reduce gut inflammation and restore intestinal lining.Since I try to avoid as many packaged and highly processed foods as possible, I make my own almond milk for this recipe, but if you have a store bought variety on hand that’s fine too. This smoothie is especially kid-friendly, since you can hardly taste the spinach when combined with fruits and coconut!Have you tasted anything more refreshing and good for you?
