My kid loves these! They are a great snack that you can prepare beforehand and grab and go. You can interchange the peanut butter with any nut butter you’d like! I’ve used almond and sunflower butter in the past, too. Also you can roll them in some shredded coconut for added texture.
Pair these with a Matcha latte made with Further Food’s Superfood Matcha for a delicious afternoon pick me up
Further Food Commentary:
These simple sweet treats are a perfect snack, with protein and fiber that will help keep blood sugar spikes at bay, and tide you over until your next meal. Peanut butter is a good source of vitamin E and B vitamins like niacin and B6, as well as potassium, magnesium, and manganese. Just make sure you check the ingredient list. Even “natural” peanut butter often has added sugar and other ingredients, like palm oil. Stick to jars that contain just peanuts and salt.
