My Story

I have spent most of my life exploring the intimate connection between body image, food and health. I have always been intrigued by the mind-body connection, and received undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology and a masters degree in Nutrition. I am currently finishing a dietetic internship through the Western Connecticut Health Network and preparing to begin a position as an inpatient dietitian at an acute care hospital.

Through years of personal reflection and professional studies, my relationship with food has been gradually transforming from one of desperate dieting to intuitive eating. I am the author and founder of the blog where I share how every bite can help heal the body and bring us closer to making peace with food.
