Further Food Nutritionist Commentary:

This Broccoli Basil Soup is a perfect mealtime starter which will help to fill your stomach without contributing a significant amount of calories. High in vitamin C, broccoli helps you to maintain healthy skin, bones, teeth, and blood vessels. Vitamin C is also known to increase the body’s ability to absorb iron; pair this soup with an iron-containing protein such as beans or meats to reap this nutritional benefit.
