Carrots are a perfect, nutrition packed smoothie addition. They are high in fiber and natural sugars that can add a balance of earthiness and sweetness to the flavor profile. They are also high in vitamin A and vitamin C which help maintain your eye health and immune system, respectively. Turmeric is a powerhouse of anti-inflammatory properties which high levels of the compound curcumin. If you struggle from any inflammatory disease, turmeric can help calm symptoms.

Ingredients

1 large carrot
1 navel orange
1 frozen banana
1 inch knob of fresh turmeric, or 2 scoops Daily Turmeric Tonic 
2 tablespoons chia seeds
8oz water
