Blueberry Maca Smoothie

I was recently diagnosed with Hypothalamic Hypogonadotropism. I created this recipe for my health condition, specifically for the ingredient Maca powder. It helps to regulate your hormones and irregular menstrual cycles.

Further Food Commentary:

Easily digestible, portable, and adaptable to whichever types of produce you have on hand, smoothies offer myriad nutrients that help keep your body humming and healthy. Spinach is a natural source of folate, antioxidant vitamins and minerals. Unsweetened almond milk provides protein, and the healthy fats from almond butter and hemp seeds improve nutrient absorption and satiation. Rich in vitamin C and copper, maca powder is also a moderate source of iron, and research suggests it may help improve both libido and fertility.
