While food is something we all engage in daily, I first became aware of food and the health impact of diet around junior high. Ever have those days when you feel sluggish and think, “it must have been something I ate?” Those “off days” started to add up in high school and college and pushed me towards becoming a Dietitian to learn what to eat, when, why and how food choices can enhance health and wellbeing. Now I get to help others discover optimal nutrition, and to become an informed eater, an empowered eater!Bio: I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Food and Nutrition and Master’s of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University. I completed a dietetic residency program in affiliation with Montefiore Medical Center successfully gaining a Registered Dietitian license and Certified Dietitian Nutritionist certification. I have worked for 5+ years providing medical nutrition therapy in US News and World Reports acclaimed medical institutions including Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care and NYU Perlmutter Cancer Center, where I am presently.
