Chocolate Covered Matcha Bars


These chocolate covered matcha bars will be a big hit! And they are super easy to make. Just mix the ingredients, freeze and then coat the bars in a delicious chocolate coating. The addition of the matcha and Further Food Collagen amp up the nutrition of these bars. Store in freezer or the refrigerator. Enjoy!

Since matcha's made from high quality, it's a more potent source of nutrients than steeped tea leaves. With it's antioxidant rich properties, from polyphenols and EGCG, it has been proven to fight against, blood pressure reduction, blood sugar regulation, cancer and heart disease. As long as its unsweetened, in comparison to other types of milk, almond milk is lower in calories. Even though raw almonds are a good source of protein, almond milk is not, but is a good source of vitamin A and D and is naturally lactose free. It should be noted that it should be thought of as a good source of calcium, which is important for those with osteoporosis and optimum bone growth.

Chocolate Covered Matcha Bars

  • Prep Time:5 minutes
  • Cook Time:10 minutes + freezing time
  • Servings: 6



3 tablespoons coconut flour
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/4 almond milk
2 scoops of Further Food Collagen Peptides
2 tablespoons matcha powder


2 tablespoons dark chocolate
1 tablespoon coconut oil



  1. Mix all ingredients well together
  2. Lay flat in parchment paper
  3. Put in freezer for 7+ minutes


  1. Melt dark chocolate and coconut oil. Mix well.
  2. Add 1 scoop of Further Food Collagen Peptides. Mix well.


  1. Coat filling layer with chocolate.
  2. Put back into freezer until firm.
