This almond butter is a great way to give the gift of heart health. While I have nothing against peanuts, I believe that all of its cousins deserve a similar pedestal. Mixed with cacao powder, chia seeds, and shredded coconut, this almond butter is a special, healthful treat that all will surely enjoy.

Ingredients

2 cups almonds, toasted

1 tablespoon chia seeds

2 teaspoons cacao powder

¼ cup shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Make almond butter using an immersion blender, or a regular blender. Be patient, it takes some time for the nuts to break down.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix almond butter with remaining ingredients.
  3. Portion out into jars, and decorate!
